On November 25th, U.S. time, the Atlanta Hawks faced the Washington Wizards in an NBA Cup game. The Wizards came out of the gates on fire, jumping out to a 45-16 lead and building a 29-point advantage. The Hawks mounted a comeback to narrow the gap, but the Wizards extended their lead to over 30 points, sealing the victory early. Ultimately, the Wizards pulled off an upset, defeating the Hawks 132-113. This win ended the Wizards' league-worst 14-game losing streak this season, though they remain at the bottom of the standings with a 2-15 record. CJ McCollum exploded for 46 points and 10 three-pointers, tying the franchise record for most three-pointers made in a single game.
