Bucs back in business, Seahawks shutout Vikings - best of the rest

49ers ruin Sanders' first home start

Shedeur Sanders threw a touchdown pass in his first home start, but it was nowhere near enough as scores from Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy and Juan Jennings saw the 49ers pull away to a 26-8 victory.

With the Rams losing to the Panthers, the Niners join them on nine wins in an incredibly tight NFC West - and that coming with them having plenty of injuries to deal with too.

Seahawks shutout Vikings as back-up QB implodes

The Vikings went pointless in Seattle - their first shutout in 18 years - on the back of four interceptions thrown by rookie back-up QB Max Brosmer, who finished with a passer rating of 32.8.

The Seahawks didn't do too much themselves to win 26-0 with just one offensive touchdown, but it was enough to go 9-3 and join the Rams and 49ers in the fight for the NFC West.

It's hard not to feel sorry for Brosmer though after a first start to forget, as Minnesota dropped to 4-8.

Bucs back in business with welcome win

Despite the Panthers winning, the Bucs kept their noses in front in the NFC South by grinding out a 20-17 victory over Arizona to end a run of three straight defeats.

Jacoby Brissett had a 300-yard game but Baker Mayfield got the win any way he could, including throwing a TD pass to offensive lineman Tristen Wirfs! The Bucs and Panthers still have to play each other twice, and those games will settle the division.

Jets bag third win of the season

Bijan Robinson had 193 yards and a touchdown in a monster game for Atlanta, but they still lost to the Jets - who bagged just their third win of the season and just a second turnover, and their first in the USA as their other came in London.
