Resona Holdings, Inc., which oversees the operations of Resona Bank and other group subsidiaries in Japan, has migrated 30,000 client terminals used within the Resona Group from Windows XP to Windows 8 and Office 2013. It’s one of the largest such deployments ever made in Japan, according to Microsoft Japan. The company finished the migration at the end of February, ahead of the April 8 end of support deadline for both Windows XP and Office 2003, which had been running on its group client terminals.
