Dior unveiled the 10th edition of its Dior Lady Art project during the 13th ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Nov 13 to 16. The special exhibition looks back on the project's decadelong journey, displaying key collaborative works and creations from all previous editions.
Launched in 2016, the project invites artists worldwide to reimagine the Lady Dior bag—an iconic symbol of the brand's elegance—with complete creative freedom. To mark the 10th anniversary, 29 new pieces crafted in 2025 are on display, designed by 10 international artists: Jessica Cannon, Patrick Eugène, Eva Jospin, Ju Ting, Lakwena, Lee Ufan, Sophia Loeb, Inès Longevial, Marc Quinn, and Alymamah Rashed. Each artist has interpreted the iconic bag through their unique artistic lenses, integrating their vision with the craftsmanship and heritage of Dior's ateliers.
The exhibition also includes works from the first nine editions, incorporating techniques ranging from embroidery, and painting to sculptural innovation. These creations reflect Christian Dior's enduring ties to art—before establishing his couture house, he worked as a gallerist and art collector.
