Neil Patrick Harris reacts to heavily filtered selfie with Abby Lee Miller: 'What did you do to my face?'

Neil Patrick Harris is curious why he looks a little different than normal in Abby Lee Miller’s Instagram post.

The actor, who is currently starring in a revival of the Tony award-winning play Art on Broadway, hopped into the comment section of Miller’s post to ask her why he appears so heavily airbrushed in the pair’s selfie together.

“Ummm… what did you do to my face..?” Harris wrote.

The snapshot (above) sees Miller and Harris smiling as they pose together outside the Music Box Theatre where Art is performed. It would honestly look like a normal photo… if there wasn’t a noticeable blur filter smoothing out the How I Met Your Mother actor’s skin to a truly unnatural degree.

The pair’s selfie was part of a collection of images that Miller posted on social media Tuesday after attending a recent performance of the play.

“If you truly want to LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Then go see @artonbway With these incredible comedic actors @nph @j_corden and @bobby_cannavale,” she captioned the post. “On tv they are superstars, live on stage - their timing is impeccable, and in person afterward - such gracious kind gentlemen! Thank you for an incredible evening [of] NY Theater!”

The Dance Moms alum also posed for photos with Harris’ costars James Corden and Bobby Cannavale, but the pair managed to escape getting caught in the filter.

Harris wasn’t the only one who noticed his new look, either. Fans similarly flooded the comment section to discuss his new “yassified” face, with one calling him “Neil paintbrush Harris.”

“Abby why did you do that to Neil 😭," one fan wrote. Another added, "They bringing out wax models of Neil Patrick Harris to events now?"

Others suggested that Miller uses the popular app FaceTune to retouch her photos and that Harris’ face may have gotten caught in the crossfire. “Guys she edits her face so it also edit the persons…. Neil,” one fan wrote.

The app was mentioned so often its own Instagram account got involved, commenting, “Abby let me proof read your post next time baby goregous [sic].”

The Art account also joined in on the fun too, writing, “Now THIS is a true work of art 🖼️.”

Art is playing now on Broadway through Dec. 21.
