Tech Giant Unveils AI-Powered Laptops for Remote Workers

The lineup integrates a custom neural processing unit (NPU) alongside 13th-generation Intel Core processors, offloading AI tasks to cut battery use by 25% while boosting speeds by 40% for real-time video editing, virtual meeting tools, and language translation. Unlike conventional laptops that over-rely on CPU or GPU power, the NPU optimizes workflow for on-the-go users, a core priority for the brand.

At the company’s headquarters press conference, Chief Product Officer Elena Marquez highlighted user-centric design. “Remote work has reshaped laptop needs. The NovaBook AI isn’t just a device—it’s a smart assistant that automates repetitive tasks and boosts hybrid team collaboration,” she said.

Three models are available: the 13-inch Air ($999), 15-inch Pro ($1,499), and 17-inch Studio ($1,999). All include 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and 2K anti-glare touchscreens. Pre-orders are open now, with shipments hitting stores in late November.

Industry analyst Ryan Chen noted the competitive market dominated by Apple and Dell, but said the NovaBook AI’s dedicated NPU and mid-range pricing could attract freelancers and small business owners. “AI integration is fast becoming a must-have, not a luxury,” Chen added.
