ustomer experience is essential for a company’s success, whether it is selling a product, providing a service or offering an experience. Companies that provide positive customer interactions tend to be more popular and create a loyal following.
When they have a negative customer service experience, 56 percent of consumers will simply switch to competitor, rather than voicing their discontent. Over half will switch after only one bad experience. This makes it as important as ever for companies to ensure the best possible customer service, and for consumers to know which brands they can trust.
That is why Newsweek is proud to partner with Statista for the first time to present the United Kingdom’s Best Customer Service 2026, highlighting 572 brands that offer the best service experience.
This ranking is built using over 100,000 customer evaluations. Final recommendations were determined using likelihood of recommendation, which comprised 50 percent of the score, and five evaluation criteria, which comprised the other 50 percent. The five criteria were quality of communication, professional competence, range of services, customer focus and accessibility. Companies included in the ranking are Absolute Music, Barclays, First Choice Nanny Agency, Miller & Carter and Uniqlo.
We hope this list helps customers find companies that offer exceptional support for all of their shopping needs.
